Shopping around for a phone contract is well worth doing if you’re looking to save money. If you’ve come to the end of your Vodafone contract then comparing with other network providers may get you a cheaper bill or a better deal on your device.
Keep in mind that there may be fees or outstanding charges for cancelling your contract early, however, if you are able to switch networks then you’ll need to cancel your contract before moving.
To cancel your Vodafone contract follow these instructions:
- To cancel without switching to another network, simply dial 191 from your Vodafone mobile and request to cancel your agreement
- To switch to another network you’ll need a PAC code to keep your existing number, or a STAC code to change to a different number. These can be obtained by heading to the Vodafone website and speaking to an online agent or calling 191 from your Vodafone mobile.
- If you don’t have your Vodafone mobile to hand, call their customer service team on 0333 304 0191 and request to cancel your account.
There are options to chat to an agent online, it can be worth seeing if they can reduce your bill or offer a better deal rather than lose you as a customer.
